Stripes, a customizable menswear fashion brand, announced that it launched a premium line for customizable men’s suits.
In 2013, Seung Jun Lee launched Stripes as a service that offers stylish custom shirts via door-to-door service. The hook of the business was that it eliminated the hassle of finding the right tailor, not to mention it provided convenience. Thus, the launch of its premium line for formal wear marks a new endeavor for the company.
Along with dress shirts, men’s suits are necessities for all young professionals looking for both style and comfort. The customized suits aim to help young men create their own style and highlight their personal styles. Stripes’ premium suits will be made with high quality fabrics and materials. They offer a variety of colors and designs and hope to add more fabric options in the near future.
The service is easy to use. Users can visit the Stripes web page to request a stylist for consultation. The stylist and the customer can arrange to meet at a nearby coffee shop or anywhere convenient, to discuss the desired style, size, color, and other details. Consultation is free of charge.
Until recently, Stripes was only available in Seoul and cities neighboring the metropolitan area. But now, the company has expanded its services to Busan.
“Stripes plans to continue expanding servicing areas, using the know-hows we’ve acquired over the last two years while working with over 20,000 clients,” said Lee. “We have received positive responses from our several pop up stores in Busan and have opened a branch there to help cater to customers there as well. We also hope to expand our service overseas as well in the future.”
The company also hopes to add blazers, pants, and others to the line in order to establish the brand as a leading, customized fashion brand.
