On February 24th at the Korea Contents Lab in Seoul, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) held the first lecture for its “Biz+Class” series, which aims to share expertise and practical advice to both stakeholders in the start-up ecosystem and individuals generally interested in start-ups. At this event, KAIST SE MBA professor and author of The Lean Start-up Bible Sung Joo Cho spoke on the topic of “The Secret to Sustainable Growth, The Real Business Model for Lean Start-ups.”
The “Biz+Class” series will be held until March 17th with a total of five sessions on business planning, public speaking, marketing practice, global market entry, and start-up business strategy. Future lectures will be on “Presentations That Attract Investors” (OnOffMix’s CEO Joon Chul Yang), “Integrated Marketing in Start-ups” (Ticketmonster’s Director Chul Wook Song), “Mobile App Marketing” (Neicon’s CEO Sunjin Lee), “International PR” (Fionabae’s CEO Jiyoung Park), “A to Z on Korean Startup’s Global Market Entry” (beSUCCESS’ CEO Hyunwook Jung), and more related to problems start-ups commonly face.
Biz+Class will also host a “1 on 1 Boosting Program” that connects industry mentors with companies participating in the Korean Contents Lab Enterprise Support Center. Spark Lab’s CEO Yoojin Kim and Capstone Partners’ CEO Eun Kang Song are among the various knowledgeable industry mentors partaking in the event.
