On March 31st, the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (GCCEI) will be holding its 2nd Uprise Global Startup Forum (Japanese Edition) with the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) at Gyeonggi Innovation Center’s Giga Hall. The forum aims to provide real-world, practical tips and guidance for foreign startups seeking to enter the Korean market and discuss the following topics respectively: start-up and start-up investment trends in Japan, support for entry, professional experience, panel discussion, and networking.
Director of the Startup Alliance Center Jung Wook Lim and Partner of Global Brain Japan NobuTake Suzuki will be presenting on the Japanese startup market and startup investment trends. In addition, CEO Sung Won Shin of 12cm, an enterprise that specializes in O2O (Online to Offline) systems, will be sharing his experience in entering the Japanese market, and start-up official Ji Pyung Lee, LG Economic Research Institute’s researcher Jung Yong Kim, Global Brain Korea’s partner Yong Jin Lee, and the deputy chief of KOTRA’s export business team will be speaking on the panel. The Global Forum will not only share lectures and experiences, but will also help build networks when entering the Japanese market. The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation and the Korea Information Society Development Institute are jointly running these monthly forums.
