The Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (STEPI) will be hosting its fourth Young Innovators Talk series on June 2nd at Jeju National University’s Ara Campus. This event will focus on the integration of humanities, technology, and cultural arts in social network start-ups and will be jointly organized with STEPI Innovative Enterprise Research Center and Cheju National University’s LINC.
CEO of Girls Robot, Jinjoo Lee, and CEO of NBLISS Comz, Jihoo Jung, will be sharing their experience and expertise in starting their own dream business. Founded in 2015, Girls Robot is the first social venture network for female robot engineers and is in the process of implementing a program that provides training for female scientists and engineers. Also founded in 2015, NBLISS Comes runs Wishing Note, a social networking app that allows users to create and share bucket lists. NBLISS Comes was selected as a K-Global 300 company and received the Science and Technology Promotion Award from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) in 2017. CEO Jihoo Jung is also a professional member of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) Software + Humanities Forum.
