Kakao Employees to Lecture on ‘Patent, Trade Mark Registration’ and ‘Privacy Protection.’
Kakao (CEO: Ji Hoon “Jimmy” Rim) stated on June 22th that it is seeking a second round of participants for ‘Kakao Class with Partners,’ an educational program that aims to strengthen synergy between Kakao and its partnering companies.
‘Kakao Class with Partners’ is an offline educational program made for Kakao’s partnering companies. It gained popularity by having actual Kakao employees participate as lecturers. During the first round that took place in May, Kakao’s Head of People and Organization Development, Sunghyun Hwang, lectured on the topic of ‘Human Resources, Organization, and Transition.’
With the topic of ‘Patent, Trade Mark Registration’ and ‘Privacy Protection,’ the second round will take place at the Kakao Hannam office at 3pm on June 28th. Soonyoung Jeon, who is in charge of Kakao’s intellectual property affairs, will give a lecture on ‘Patent, Trade Mark Registration.’ Ji Young Na, who is in charge of protecting the user privacy, will lecture on the topic of ‘Privacy Protection.’ Any current partners or potential partners of Kakao who wishes to participate in this second program can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to register. A Kakao authority stated, “In addition to these education programs on patent and trademark registration, we plan on providing programs that may be of interest to our partnering companies in the future.” The person added, “We want to reinforce the accompanied growth along with our partners.”
Meanwhile, Kakao aims to run the ‘Kakao Class with Partners’ program twice a year. The company plans on cultivating this program into a supportive education program that covers a variety of helpful fields through consistent communications with its partners.
