‘Start Tel Aviv 2017’ Korean final, Stratio won the first prize

‘Stratio’, which developed LinkSquare, a handheld spectrometer based on image sensor technology, won the Start Tel Aviv 2017 Korea competition. K-ICT Born2Global Center, a professional startup support agency, said they had held  the final of “Start Tel Aviv 2017 Korea at the Pangyo startup campus on August 3, 2017 with the Israeli Embassy in Korea and Yosuma group.

This event will select companies to participate in the ‘Start Tel Aviv 2017’, an international entrepreneurial competition sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel and the local government of Tel Aviv from  September 4th to 7th . It is a big event for venture companies that can establish exchanges between startups from other countries and Israel networks. This is also a part of the international startup conference, ‘DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival 2017’.

Stratio, who won first prize in the final, will visit Israeli economic capital Tel Aviv and participate in the local ‘Start Tel Aviv 2017’. The round trip ticket and the full accommodation fee will be sponsored by the Israeli government. In addition, they will receive various support including professional consulting to go abroad, International Demoday/Loadshow participation, education as a member company of Born2Global Center.

The final five teams in the preliminary round of Korea were Stratio (Representative Jaehyeong Lee), Eden Lux (Representative Sungyong Park), Geoline (Representative Sungkyo Cho), Idwear (Representative Dongwon Ju), FountAI(Representative Seungjun Oh).

There was an entry level portable spectrometer technology using smart phone of Stratio, which was the winner of the contest, along with  an electric car charging mobile management and payment solution, chatbot and AI consulting, Eye health care products using IoT, Cognitive rehabilitation solutions for Alzheimer’s disease prevention. Following the Stratio of the first prize, Geoline won the second, and Eden Lux won the third.
