Red Dot Award is one of the three most prestigious design awards in the world, where thousands of submissions from all around the globe are entered every year.

ProtoPie won the Red Dot Award in the category ‘Communication Design 2017,’ where more than 8,000 submissions from 50 different countries were entered and screened by 24 design experts. This year’s competition was particularly intense that the winners were announced later than expected, Studio XID explained.

“It’s exciting to see that the Red Dot Design Award is becoming a widely acknowledged platform where talented designers from all over the world participate to learn how much their work have made progress,” Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of the Red Dot Design Award, commented.

He also congratulated this year’s award winners and added, “Hopefully, this award can be a significant step in furthering the success and achievement of your products.”
