During September, Android users spent a total of 2.97 billion hours on their smartphones. This is equivalent to 37.12 million Android users spending 2 hours and 40 minutes on their smartphones a day.
The app that smartphone users spent the most time on was “YouTube”. The total usage of “YouTube” accounted for 11.5% of Android phones usage in September. According to app analytics company Wise App, YouTube’s share of users usage time increased almost in double. Last September, it formed 6.7% of the monthly usage time, but soared to 11.5% this September.
This analysis was based on a survey of 23,000 Android smartphone users over the past month.
