Odd Concepts Receive $2.5 Million Investment


A visual intelligence company based on commerce technology, Odd Concepts has attracted $2.5 million investment from Stonebridge Capital and Colopl Next of Japan. The accumulated investment amount is $3.5 million.

Se Hong Jang, manager of Colopl Next, said, “In February of this year, Odd Concepts used DeepLook, a recommendation engine based on deep learning, to commercialize and acquire 90,000 monthly traffic and 2,000 users in 8 months.” Jang added, “They have proven their technology in numbers on the market. In addition, based on the millions of data updated every day, Odd Concepts have had a steady technical advantage over other competitors.”

Jung Tae Kim (CEO of Odd Concepts) said, “We have been proving technical and business models that have not been tried by anyone else,” Kim added, “We are pleased to be able to quickly prove and scale up this market through this investment.”

Stonebridge Capital and Colopl Next are planning to cooperate as partners to pursue Odd Concepts in domestic and overseas markets.
