Treasure Hunter has signed a strategic investment agreement with Hong Kong-based private equity CEC fund.
As a holding company, Treasure Hunter plans to focus on expanding its business by investing into own and other non-core businesses and their projects. CEC Fund plans to support Treasure Hunter as a strategic investor.
Richard Sung (Head Partner of Hong Kong CEC Fund) said, “We are delighted to have a strategic partnership with Treasurer Hunter, a fast-growing global trading platform and one of the world’s leading players in Australia, India and the Middle East, beyond Asia.” Sung added, “We hope to be a strategic financial partner who will support the initial investment, IPO and the exit strategy projects planned by Treasure Hunter and affiliated companies.”
Established in 1996, Hong Kong CEC Fund is a private equity firm in China, focusing on investments in food, beverage, entertainment, financial and health sectors. Also, the company has been supporting Hong Kong and China companies early prior to their IPO.
